Tehuelches land ,called Patagones by Magellan's expedition in 1520 because of the size of his feet. They say that were tall and burly men. In the Pinturas River Canyon in Santa Cruz you can visit the cave of the hands and the paintings related to the daily lives of them and their ancestor elements, these paintings dating than 9000 years.
